Countdown on to Torbay Baton of Hope!

Excitement is gearing up and final plans are coming together for the Torbay Baton of Hope, which reaches the Bay on Tuesday 30 September.
The baton relay, which raises awareness of the impact of suicide, will go through Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.
It starts at Princess Gardens, which will have a live tour screen for people to watch the Torbay leg. There will be lots of events taking place throughout the day in Paignton and Brixham too.
At the end of the day, the BIG Show of Hope fundraiser takes place at the Riviera International Centre featuring comedian Hal Cruttenden and Teignmouth born X-Factor finalist Luke Friend.
The Torbay Baton of Hope website has lots of information about the day and how you can get involved.
You can view a relay route map, see all the wellbeing events and activities taking place and find out how to book tickets for the finale fundraiser. Each ticket bought enters you into a raffle for a chance to win top-quality prizes and all profits go to our local suicide prevention legacy grant fund.
