The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is inviting people to share their experiences of arranging and paying for adult social care themselves.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is inviting people to share their experiences of arranging and paying for adult social care themselves.
The survey is aimed at people who have looked for care either for themselves or for someone else and have funded that care without local authority support.
DHSC says the survey will help improve understanding of the care journey for self-funders and identify where policy changes could better support individuals and families.
The survey asks about:
- the support people received to help identify the right care package
- the information and advice that helped them make care choices
- the factors that influenced their choice of provider
- what could improve the experience of arranging care
The survey is expected to take around 10 minutes to complete and will close on Friday 27 March.
