Quarterly Highlights
- Feedback & Concerns: 465 people shared their health or care feedback with us this quarter.
- We helped 298 people share feedback or look for advice through our contact centre.
- We escalated or referred 126 complaints or concerns to the relevant organisations.
 
- Engagement: We met hundreds of local people at community events across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.
- Over 10,000 people visited our feedback and information website.
- Over 2,000 people read our news and reports online.
 
- Key Issues: Primary Care Services were the most commonly discussed theme, accounting for 45.4% of overall feedback. The most common issues were Access to Services, Administration, and Treatment & Care.
Featured Report & Campaigns
- New Report on Vaccination: We published a new report, 'Changing attitudes to vaccination in Devon, Plymouth & Torbay'. The report found a concerning trend of declining uptake among at-risk groups , highlighting issues such as Vaccine Fatigue, Concerns about Side Effects, and Mistrust of Programmes. We have shared our recommendations with NHS Devon.
- National Impact: Healthwatch England successfully campaigned for NHS England to publish demographic breakdowns of NHS waiting list data by age, sex, ethnicity, and deprivation to tackle health inequalities.
